Woodtech U.K. manufacture Oxy-thermic underwater cutting rods primarily for the use of Titan Maritime, a major Salvage / Wreck Removal Contractor, these rods have the technology of the millenium, consistantly high tip temperatures (4000C) coupled with a realistic price, made possible by the use of special alloys and a highly efficient manufacturing technique.
These rods cut at their optimum 90 psi above ambient pressure, using a high flow regulator and a good quality cutting torch. A starting current as low as 150 amps, is all that is needed to start the rod, they will then continue to burn until the oxygen supply is closed off or the rod is consumed.
